Spintunes 20 round 2. One word chorus.

The fun with a one word chorus is that you can try and change the meaning with each iteration, depending on what you shine on it.

Phosphorescence happens when a substance absorbs light then somehow manages reemit it at a longer wavelength, so that it looks like it's glowing. The light eventually fades, until the process is repeated. Phosphorescent pigments are often used on things that benefit from glowing in the dark, like watch faces, for example.

As a person who's been in a happily committed relationship for 20+ years, I have to look elsewhere for my breakup songs, and they all end up being about my best friend, who intermittently ghosted me when I moved overseas, then, it seems, permanently ghosted in the joy that was 2020. Friendship heartbreak ...it's all the stupid iterations of grief, and if I have to go through life feeling it all, I reserve the right to mine it for material in perpetuity.
